For dinner tonight, dh and I went to Marietta Diner (warning: sound on site). We'd heard about it a couple of places and, since we were in the area looking for food, we decided to try it. First, let me say that at dinnertime on a Saturday, be prepared for a wait. The waiting was very crowded and was about 20 minutes. Trust me, it was worth the wait. To top it off, we had an incredible, close-up view of the dessert case from our table. :) To begin with, they immediately brought spanakopita and fresh bread complementary to the table. Our server had a drinks on the table in record time. I don't think we waited even 10 minutes for our meal. Both entrees were awesome. We decided not to finish our entrees because we wanted to share a dessert. It's a good thing we wanted to share. The slab of cake was dumbfounding. Not only that, it tasted deadly! I can highly recommend that everybody make the trip. I'm sure we'll go back. That's some of the best food and most incredible service, and at a quite reasonable price.
