So my gardening adventures this summer have been
chronicled in various posts. Today, I was once again out admiring my beautiful watermelon plant that has now taken over the entire garden, including where the strawberries are. I had been lamenting that maybe I was not going to see much actual fruit production because it's so late in the year, and we might have a frost before the plant had time to do very much. And there it was!! I was so excited. I actually have a little watermelon!! Sure it's not a lot yet, but maybe I might get to harvest at least one fruit! The coolest part is that I actually grew it!!!
